Turquoise loves the sea. She and her mate Tank met one day while she was walking among the waves. Tank is a fisherman, and with the help of two Coatls, he supplies all the fresh seafood for Nevermore. He coaxed her to follow him to the clan, and she agreed, smitten with the dragon that resembles the shells that she loves.

They travel daily to the beach, and while he swims out to load his nets with fish, she spends most of her time combing secluded beaches for shells and trinkets. She drags a little wooden cart behind her, piled with driftwood and little jars into which she sorts sea glass, bones, shimmering scales, shells, and anything else that washes up on shore.

At sunset she trundles home to their little shack, a cozy construction of driftwood and planks from ruined ships. Strings of shells form curtains, and they clink softly in the sea breeze. After stopping at the bakery, or visiting her friend the jeweler, she sorts through her findings. Much of it is fashioned into jewelry and decorative items, which she packs into tarnished old chests or displays around her home.

Once a month she loads all the chests into her cart and travels to the trading post to set up a market stall, trading and selling as she pleases. She passes the time contentedly, her routine broken only by storms, and the strange glowing relics that wash up on the beach occasionally. She takes them home immediately, and after wrapping each carefully in soft cloth, locks them securely in a chest under her bed. 		Sinew Net
