A note from Mother

You take too much after your father. There is greatness in you, it is in your blood, you were bred for it, but what do you choose to do? You spend your days basking in the sunlight because apparently it does not annoy you like it does me. You make friends with the impure, you lack ambition and this waste of your talents hurts me. You are smart, I have seen you outsmart your prey with a cleverness that only seems to glimmer when you hunt. I wish you could channel that, turn it into a drive for something more than a life that is less than you deserve. Bask in the sun to your hearts content, but do not forget where you come from. Do not waste your talents.
