‘I...I’m not like them...’
Frurres was born in a flame. His egg hatched, literally, amid the sizzling coals of the nest of Fiery Wildclaws that, honestly, had no idea how he got there. He learned everything he needed to learn among them, even though he walked on four legs and grew a thick coat of fluff that his fellow Hatchlings often sneezed at and complained about.

Growing up with wildclaws does not result in normal tundra behavior.
So when Frurres left his clan to go out on, he was greatly surprised. Why were all the other tundras eating plants? Why do they keep expecting him to use magic as apposed to physical combat?
And the last most significant change, was his fire abilities. His breath was twice and hot, his fur could withstand lava, and his claws could melt metal.
When he realized how rare these abilities were in the other clans, he was deeply upset. Why could he not be normal for once? Why did he have to be born with wildclaws? Why was life so unfair?
He trained and worked to change the adaptions that his body had made while living in the fire. But no matter how much he suffered in the water. No matter how much he shivered in the ice. He could not.
After years of this torment, he traveled to the Tangled Wood. He wanted to rest and have peace, hidden away in the dark of the woods. But not long after entering the mysterious forest, he encountered a clan.
Here the hatchlings didn't scream when he approached, they laughed! The adults didn't judge his eating habits, they tried it out! He had found a place where he could stay without all the mocking that he almost gotten used to.
So Frurres settled in to his new home. Taking the spot of resident fire dragon. Now he has kids of his own, and he always teaches them to never laugh at a tundra who eats meat..
