Biography

As a warrior hailing from the plague lands, Maffel is rough and stubborn; after all those are what one needs to survive in that place. Unfortunately (or was it fortunately?), he did not remain as a simple dragon. The land, as it does to many, changed him. It started slow, at first just some itching on his legs and tail, but as time grew on he began to scratch and scratch until the fur was torn away and the bloodily flesh below revealed. In the coarse of the next few days it began to heal, but it was wrong. Where there was once fur, there was scales. Where a tail once was, there was now a serpent’s head. Cursed (or blessed perhaps?) in the form of a monster, he set off anew. Where he would go? Not even he knew.
