A violet crystal pearl catcher adorned in Ghost flame apparel approached me with a salad of plants and diced insects. My stomach growled in agony as I finally realized how hungry I was. I nodded thank you to her before taking and devouring the salad. The pearl catcher smiled at me, "welcome young dragoness, never before have I seen a coatl with your hues of blue. I am Midnight. What is your name? Where do you come from?"I hesitated before answering, "Nora, I come from the sea, not the fire, the sea!" A lavender imperial stepped forward, "I have heard of your kin before, the ocean has carried your bloodline so far from ash and ruin…" Amazed that I was understood, I stumbled to my feet, "May I stay here? I cannot go home, my past is a dark one...
