Personality

Archer is a very brave loyal dragon. Always striving to be the best, to excel in everything that he does. He is never still, always active in some form or another. He is anxious to prove to his clan members that he can be trusted with hunting, patrolling and guarding for the Clan. He is also wise beyond his years, able to recall information about the Clan and the Kingdoms backstory at a moments thought. This would make him very useful to the clan as a Scribe, but Archer is set on being a Head Hunter and Explorer, to provide for and protect the clan.


Backstory

Archer was born from Nature. An egg carried by the breeze, across the sea and towards the clan he now calls his home. He was discovered by Bard, a Wildclaw, at the edges of the Clan Territory. She took him back to the main Lair to look after him, take care of him. She knew nothing about where he came from, only that he needed another dragon to be there for him, so she was. Bard was the only dragon in the clan that Archer recognised when he hatched, confused and unsure, from his egg. He stayed by her until he was old enough to leave the Nursery Cave.

After he had stayed in the clan for a few weeks, and become familiar with the layout of the forest surrounding it, he was allowed a quick overhead scout of the area, to make sure no Beastclan dragons were in range. Whilst he was circling the forest from above, he caught sight of another Mirror, lurking near the clearing. He hissed angrily and dove from the sky, barrelling into her, claws outstretched. He was not prepared for the wave of strength that hit him. She swung him sideways and rendered him helpless, lying on his back with her clawson his chest. He looked up at her, noticing how her patterns mirrored his and glared at her, fighting to get out of her vicelike grip. She wore a dark red mark, her eyes and face concealed by it. Her hold suddenly slackened, she gasped and leapt off of him. Archer stood up, she looked familiar, very familiar, but he was certain he had
never seen her face, only her....thoughts. "A..Are you,Archer?" She asked hesitantly, taking a step forwards. "Huntress" he answered, dashing forwards and wrapping his wings around her, his sister,his twin.

The two had a psychic connection. She had spoken in his head since birth, given him his name, as he had given her hers. The last she had spoken, she had said "I'll find you" this was just before he had found her, as they had grown up, they had become a constant shadow to one another, whether physically there or not. This made them great hunting partners, able to lead a hunt from miles away. Their advanced coordination was a great advantage to the clan. Archer would lead a small group of dragons around one side of the prey, with Huntress at the other side. Without a word the attack would begin, both sides moving in perfect synchronisation towards their common goal.

Other dragons disliked this connection. Some refused to speak to or interact with the Twins, labelling them cursed and dangerous. The clans most powerful Dark Mages, Layem and Darkness were on opposing sides of this argument. Where Layem agreed that the connnection was dangerous and that Archer and Huntress were not to be trusted, Darkness decreed that it was an evolution for Dragonkind, a gift that was not too be wasted. This was the start of the quarrels within the clan, the start of a Civil war that could tear the clan apart.
