It was Kepler who first suggested his partner, Kaplan, seek parentless hatchlings to join their lair and contribute their study of the world around them. He finds endless beauty in natural environment, and works frequently with the lair botanist, Tyson, concocting salves and potions for his fellows. Kepler is the first dragon his clanmates seek out when they need an open mind and friendly ear to ease their troubles. He is quick to jest and smile, traits which often come in handy when appeasing the numerous dragons his mate has angered.
