mister greeter!
you are dusk-deep in twilight, duskshine! you are named after a famous general's hoofbeast during the second age and the story of the little black unicorn. you grow up amongst the shadows of the temples, with questionable morals and with never a smile on your face. you are a orphan, at five sweeps and the palest of intentions to anyone who asks to be shown; and you know that you will be adopted, soon. this is a fact, an inevitability; something meant to be borne with as much patience and acceptance as a guardian does for its new charge. rogue dragons only do so by choice- the clans of the lightbringer are as innumerable as the hours of the day at the eastern peak of the radiant eye. you are not a prodigy or a hypocrite. you watch and wait with black-tipped eyes and a ruff pointed forward.
she is at least thrice your size, and you are large for a Fae, never really having lacked for food. You blink, and your ruff lifts - a question. "Cut the crap." the guardian demands. Her red eyes are squinting forward, and her tail keeps lashing to sprite white against the midday sun, irritated. "I know you can talk, Rogue."

Powerful beyond measure, somehow untouched by time, Duskshine is ageless and magical, a being surrounded constantly by a aura of energy. Strange things occur around her, and Duskshine takes it all in with a perpetual half-bemused detachment. She has been like this for as long as most of Rosary can remember - newcomers are perplexed by the way she touches things, either roughly or almost reverently, as if handling a piece of sharp ice that would melt if she held it in her fist. Her relationships are much the same way. She ate her hatchlings when they were born, the gossips whisper, swallowed eggshell and placenta and flesh all, and her lovers too, for good measure. These Jiwoo shut down as soon as they appear, but the problem with working with Coatls is that new rumours appear, tied to old superstitions, and the latter cannot be dispelled. Disturbed or seductive, plotting or broken, it is not in doubt that Duskshine is a contested individual. Few see, however, the truth - Duskshine is quiet because she knows she will be there after all else is gone, and transient things are so loud as to be useless. Whether anyone will realise why is doubtful, and will probably not happen in this lifetime. That's alright. Duskshine is always waiting.
