B I O G R A P H Y
It is joked among the other Guardians of Clan Warden that Charybdis must hold the record for the fastest Search completed; almost from the moment he opened his eyes, he knew what his Charge was. Having hatched on the shores of the Sea of a Thousand Currents in Clan Warden's territory, he took to the water as soon as he could stumble his little legs down to the waves. It became clear to his parents before Charybdis even knew what a Charge was -- The ocean called to their hatchling, and he was answering. The great sea that the Water flight calls home is his Charge, and though Charybdis is a pacifist by nature, he strives to protect it from careless land-dwellers. The waters seem to come alive whenever he sinks into their depths, whirlpools spinning out from his massive wings and powerful currents chasing after his tail as he swims. Though his strict parents had hopes of him becoming a Clan Defender, they have come to accept over time that the Tidelord himself called their hatchling to defend something much more than the shores of their own Clan.

B I O G R A P H Y
Despite his lofty purpose in life, Charybdis often startles others with his good-natured and shy personality. His far more intense parents aren't sure where his pacifism comes from. Easily startled but willing to laugh off this embarrassing trait, he's easy to befriend. Unfortunately, he's also the target of pranks due to his frightened reactions. Most days, Charybdis can be found swimming with graceful ease beneath the waves of Clan Warden's territory. Though young himself, he often volunteers to give hatchlings and younger dragons swimming lessons. His kind and harmless demeanor makes him popular among the Clan's little ones.

Charybdis's familiar has been with him from a young age. The highly venemous creature followed him home from the ocean, and his parents wondered if it had been a gift from the Tidelord. An odd little snail, it usually hitches rides on the Guardian's back instead of attempting to keep up with him.
