PERSONALITY:
Mog is a secretive dragon, much more a child of the Tidelord than the Stormcatcher. He's slow to trust, and ever vigilant for breaks in that trust. It's, really, fascinating how Mog can carry a conversation without contributing anything personal. This, and the fact that he can hold a grudge with verve makes Mog a daunting enemy. But hey, he's an excellent listener.

Mog's lightning magic is restrained, a product of its development underwater. It's used in pulses, essentially making Mog a very large electric eel.

HISTORY:
Mog's home is a small clan dwelling a stone's throw from the bottom of the Leviathan Trench, despite his eyes. His parents were in the Expanse on trade business when his clutch was laid, but none of the Stormcatcher's industries touched Mog or his siblings. They returned to the depths and their lives.

By adulthood, Mog was an expert hunter. He was swifter than the swordfish and agile as an abyss eel. He used his skills to protect as well as feed the clan, so when complaints came in of a notorious red pirate intercepting merchants nearby, Mog went on alert.

A few weeks later, he caught up to her. They fought, careful to give nothing away regarding Mog's clan and its location. The pirate was very good at taking hits, much to Mog's frustration. In the end, he couldn't wear her down.

He cut her a deal to get her to leave. She demanded he join her, a point off which she refused to budge. He accepted, and the two set off. Mog went without sending word back to his clan and family, worried that the pirate would take advantage.

She dragged him to the shore. In fact, to the same shore on which Mog had been born. There was no way she could have known, but he wondered anyways. He followed Hong, always keeping an eye on her lest she fall back to her old habits, all the way to Stormbay. Its complicated, claustrophobic lair tucked away in a stone tower intimidated Mog immediately, but he followed once more and has been there ever since.

CURRENT PLOTS:
After talking with Beyla about Hong's recent behavior, Mog quit his day job and stapled himself to Hong's side. He misses the quiet steadiness of working at the mess, but he doesn't trust his captain as far as he can throw her.

Mog sticks close to Hong. They're friends for sure, but Mog has never forgotten Hong's crimes. He's never trusted her.
