For all his quiet and serious nature Rose had led an interesting life. He’d once heard the phrase ‘may you live in interesting times’ but he’d never thought it would apply to him. He thought his life would be simple and normal but no, he just had to meet Nebeirua - the crazy Plague dragon who then dragged him up and down the whole of Dragonhome and even gave him three very precocious children. He never said a word about what exactly the two of them had done, though the words ‘noodle incident’ came up often. Then she left and he actually settled down with another Ridgeback, Lavender, and had some normality and had strong children, some of who went on to serve the Earthshaker.

Then everything changed again when she died during a rival clan attack, he’d been left for dead at the border of the Starfall Isles where he’d been found by a well-to-do Arcane clan. At that point he meets Bright, a strange Lightning Skydancer who even returns with him back to Dragonhome and somehow convinces him to let them be mates but that time has ended as well. She’s back with her old clan after experiencing a magical accident, Nebeirua has somehow ended up with what remains of his old clan who have been found in the Snowsquall Tundra and he’s in the Zephyr Steppes. He knows exactly how he got here and refuses to say a thing, just frowning at anyone who asks. He also frowns at anyone who asks how he got such a uniquely colored Gembond and starts muttering about Nebeirua and her stupid attempts at snake charming.
