Qosol
Neutral Good
"Plague brings the strong-hearted closer"
Despite her shadowy coloring, she's a sweetheart. She misses the Wandering Contagion she originated from and her close-knit family there. She keeps her Enduring Goblin close as a reminder of home. She dreams of returning one day to the Scarred Wasteland and living out her life there. She hails from somewhere, like every other newcomer. Saaeriel openly bares her rough-and-tough nature from Plague, and Raconteur probably has some odd, Plaguebringer-born disease from how secretive he is about his wings, but Qosol has nothing to show for her upbringing. If it wasn't for her eyes, she might have been mistaken for a purebred by the clan. As usual, a certain someone couldn't stand being left out in the cold. "I wasn't in one of those rogue groups," Qosol tells Fieschada. "I'm not here to take anything back, I'm just traveling." "But why?" the Imperial asks her. At least Fieschada has the good sense to pretend that she is not completely absorbed by Qosol's oddness, as she 'absentmindedly' plays with her own tail. "Most dragons are dropped off into their new Flight, or called in for work reasons, or..." Qosol shrugs. "It's more, I'm looking for someone." "Oooh, I get it-" Dragons don't blush, but some of the weird reptiles they keep around do. Maybe if Qosol had skin like Fieschada, her embarrassment would be more obvious. "It's not like that! Well, I don't know, it was a really long time ago, she probably doesn't remember me, it'd be weird." Fieschada props her head onto a paw as she says, "Remember? Was she a pilgrim too?" "Yeah. She was a young Snapper, raised in Dragonhome, she wanted to go somewhere new. Somewhere with life, she said." "Life in the Plague flight? Sounds pretty optimistic to me." "It's what made her leave so soon," Qosol explains. "And at the time I thought that reason I wanted to leave too was because I was interested in seeing this place with life. The Plaguebringer is nice and all," she adds, all too used to the preconceptions, "It was just, that was something neither she or my family could give me. I realized later that what I was actually looking for." There is a quizzical look on Fieschada's face, something between excitement and bemusement, until she speaks. "Love." |
