Ex-Assistant to Epsilon. Was taken under Epsilon's wing shortly after arrival, with the intention to take after his magician skills. However, Alaric desired to break free from Epsilon's shadow after working with him for a time, mostly due to learning of how manipulative and rigged Epsilon's acts were. Epsilon was just in it for the money.

After breaking off from his mentor, Alaric was lost in figuring out what he really wanted to do. His desire to become a magician had faded entirely, of which he chalked it up to Epsilon's manipulation giving him that faux dream.

Alaric later happened to run into Nickolai, who had a habit of taking on young, lost dragons and becoming their father-figure. Alaric was no different, and quickly warmed to the company of the Imperial and his new family. He even began to take after Nickolai's fondness of archery, finally getting to know what having a proper mentor is like.
