Biography
Mnemonic likes to think of himself as a mysterious and somewhat ominous dragon, the keeper of long forgotten secrets, but unfortunately everyone in the clan knows better. He regularly commiserates with Chernobog about how no one takes their dark brooding seriously.
In actuality he enjoys playing card games and has a knack for picking up the rules to any game he hasn't encountered before. When he's on his own he'll typically entertain himself with games like Higher or Lower or Solitaire, but if he can recruit any playmates he'll readily switch to something like Go Fish or any variation of Rummy. He also collects decks of cards because he can never pass up a pretty new design, even though most of them are functionally the same as the rest.
Mnemonic's card skills don't extend to just games: he also knows an impressive number of card tricks. Mostly he learned them for his own amusement, but he's not above showing them off to any dragon willing to stick around long enough to watch.
He does actually own a tarot deck—or at least something he calls a tarot deck—and on the sadly infrequent occasions that he has the opportunity he'll use them to try to pass himself off as a cryptic fortuneteller to unsuspecting dragons. He never manages to deliver the fortunes in a convincing manner though, and is always baffled that no one seems to buy into his clever charade.
