Dyr was born into a very plain clan; there was really nothing visible that made her clan different from others. The dragons did not have unique personalities; they did not have a unique way of life either. As Dyr grew up, she found herself wishing to change this somehow. She knew that she would not be able to change the way members of the clan acted, but she knew that she could change something. Dyr just had to find out what she could change.

One day, she found herself staring at a piece of cloth that she had picked up off the ground. Suddenly, she realized that she could become a weaver. She had often noticed workers in the clan complaining about how uncomfortable and hard to work in their outfits were. She decided that she would change this.

From that day on, Dyr set her mind to learning how to weave and craft beautiful clothing from cloth. It was often difficult for her, as she had nobody to teach her the ways of weaving. However, she disregarded this and spent days after days on improving her skills. Eventually, she met another weaver named Sauma, who would one day become her mate. They became the weavers of the clan. Together, they began to craft beautiful and practical clothing for all dragons in their clan.
