Bargainer
Hey. My name is Bargainer. No clue how I earned that name. If I did know, I wouldn’t tell you. It wouldn’t be safe. Nothing is safe these days, anyways. Not even my closest friends. One wrong move by me, and they would turn on me. One wrong move by them, and I might turn on them.

See what I mean? No one can be trusted. Dragons these days just want to kill. I know this from my jar. If I look into it for long enough, it shows the future to me. I think. Or it might just be me daydreaming. Many dragons in my clan think I’m crazy because of this. Who knows, maybe I am crazy, just waiting for something, someone to turn on me so I can jump out and kill everything.

I get the feeling sometimes that I’m crazy. Like when I try to fly as fast as Sunset. And I end up just losing my momentum or whatever that’s called and plummet to the ground. Yeah. That hurt. A lot. Than again, maybe I thought I was crazy there because I was hurt.

That’s why Bogsneks don’t fly, by the way. We can, we just choose not to. Not because we’re lazy, no. Because we’re too heavy. And lazy. I have to admit that, too. But only a little bit. No more than the other breeds. Well, maybe a little more.

I’ll stop talking about that now. Back to my magical jar. I found it one day, just sitting outside my nest. No clue how it got there, but it did, and I took it. It felt… Eerie, almost. It gave of this… Feeling. I can’t describe it any more than that. It’s hard to describe things, and if you want something descriptive… Well, ask Sunset. She’s the teacher, after all.

So, yeah. The jar was odd, but I picked it up and started turning it around in my claws. Inside was a kind of mist, and I didn’t even dare to open the thing until a few days ago. Turns out the mist just gives out a gross smell that I don’t mind, so it keeps other dragons away. Which is what I’ve wanted for a long time, trust me.

So, that was one problem solved because of the jar. The mist stays with the jar, and the jar stays with me. And the dragons of this clan stay away from the jar. Logic, good and pure right there.

The jar, like I said earlier, can also supposedly tell the future. Which, is, also very helpful. Another wish granted. That’s great. But I can’t help but get the feeling that this jar is like a wish granter, and after all the wishes are spent something horrible will come…

But there’s no way to prove that, so I guess we’ll just have to wait to find out. Watch and wait, until either nothing happens or something does.
