Dexter

It was a windy day when I hatched from my shell. My parents where happy to see me and my siblings when we see the light of the world for the first time. The light if the Lightweaver… The light of life. Me and my siblings where introduced to the clan and took in with open arms. It was fun to play on the platforms high in the air, above the territory of the Wind Flight. Our parents warned us not to play too close to the edge, since our wings weren't strong enough to hold us up in the air.
Soon after we hatched I grew bigger then my siblings. The first time I didn't realized that. I was stronger and hurt them, when we played. After I accidentally hurt my sister Tallulah, I asked my parents, why I was different from them. It was because I was a member of one of the biggest breeds in Sornieth. Until then I thought, me and my siblings would be the same breed. After this information I felt like a changeling someone has smuggled into my parents nest. But then I realized, that my mother looked like me. It was because of her genes that I was different. She told me, that being different wasn't something bad. Being different is it what makes the world interesting. She said, I shouldn't listen to dragon who where disturbed by my difference.
So I learned everything I need to know, when I was introduced to some dragons of a different clan. It was a Fae named Kora from a little clan from the Nature Flight. Since I hatched I just knew my home, the Wind Flight, so I was curious about this new domain. I looked at my parents and my siblings and asked my parents, if they would let me go. I wanted to see this other flight. I wanted to explore it. I wanted to know it.
They let me go, wished me luck. So I followed the little Fae Kora. I was way bigger then her, even if she was older. Another breed difference I thought, when I followed her to her clan, which lied under a massive tree. It was the first time in my life I ever saw such a big tree. Or a forest. I never saw a forest before. The first time I was frightened. All of it was so new… The forest appeared to be bigger then it was. Bigger and darker… And scarier… Who knew what kind of creatures would live in these woods? But there was something familiar… The wind. The sound of wind rustling through the leaves…
Kora explained to me, that it is said, that the reigning god of her flight was living in the trunk of this huge tree, while others say, that this tree was grown on her flank. So if this appeared to be true, many dragon clan were living on the gods body… I was impressed! And then Kora introduced me to my new home and my new family and friends!
