Raelyn is used to such rumours, partial truths, they've followed her since she left the clan she once led, would once had willingly died for.
"Why do so?" The Imperial seems genuinely curious in her question. "If they would let you fall so easily, why tire yourself propping them up?"

She doesn't know yet if Rivia's personal interest is a blessing or a curse, for the rumours intense tenfold but so too did the comforts. Some are scandalous, others ridiculous. Despite such, the Skydancer stays to herself among the Empress's council; her own were snakes - why trust another's?

She is seen as cold and haughty, retaining her defined air of royalty that those loyal to Rivia and insecure in her reign despise.

Her silence doesn't last long in the face of aggression towards the vulnerable; she is ready to fiercely defend any she recognizes as weak, and would rather spit in the face than apologize to the initial aggressor. This steadfastness has earned her friends among the dragons of Sairas, and a small following has sprung around her actions, it's an interesting development - and one Rivia has a keen eye on.
