______ Originally from the Beacon of the Radiant Eye, Rory grew up in a Light clan, but in his rebellious adolescent years, he grew bored and decided to leave for a life of danger and adventure. One morning, while traversing through Starwood Strand, he met a distressed pearlcatcher. The frantic creature finally managed to utter his name, Delmar, and explained that he had fallen into the icy waters of his home and washed ashore at Starfall Isles. He offered to lead the pearlcatcher back home, but days into the journey, the pearlcatcher decided he'd rather stay with Rory and discover more of Sornieth. And so the two travel together, finding themselves in increasingly bizarre incidents.

As a skydancer, Rory is very sensitive to the emotions of others. When he senses negative energies radiating from a dragons aura, he feels a great distress. Because of this, he taught himself herbal remedies (mostly just crushed flower petals, honestly) which he can use to calm anxious dragons.
