Cold, distant, and silent are a good way to describe how it feels to meet Al Ishtus . Yet this very attributes that push others away also draw them in. He present as a mystery that many, especially females, want to solve. So far, only one has

Al Ishtus is an assassin, a job he does out of necessity rather than a direct desire to kill, in contrast to his mate Beltar. His general mode of operation is to assume the race or breed of his target in order to get close. He never asks why and trusts in Montu and the councils decisions. When he is not on assignment, he spends time with his mate or alone wandering the ruins. He enjoys the quiet, it is the only time he feels true emotions.






 		Beltar has unraveled this secret. She tries to cover up for his indifferent attitude, knowing that if the clan were to find out they may shun him or worse. Dragons that cannot feel are often felt to be a threat with no moral compass. Al Ishtus does have morals, or more like a set of rules he made for himself. It helps him remained focused and not behave in a manner that may cause problems.
