The cat that I didn’t even think I was gonna adopt.

When I went over to my friend's place to see the kittens they rescued, the thought of taking one home wasn’t even in my mind. The instant I saw her, I already had her name burned into my mind, Gazette, and I fell in love with this tiny kitten who had stepped on her own poop.

She was a notorious hair clip thief, absolutely destroyed the heck out of her feather wand toys, a little vulture when it came to eating time, and mischievous as all hell.

But she was also the best thing I've ever had in my life. She came to me when I called her name, tolerated all the kisses I gave her, when I was freaking out about something nerdy, she would run towards me and start sniffing my face like ‘mom, are you okay’ then she’ll stay by my side until I was done and continue with whatever she was doing.

I spoiled the heck out of her and I hope she knew that I loved her so much, she became one of the best thing i ever had in my life, and I will always love her

For all the names I've called her, I never once regretted having her in my life
