Meliade

When Flunt and Shadowfoot came over for a short stay in Ajaccio, Nymph was caught by surprise. She did not knew they were coming and it was quite a shame when they saw her wearing her mask. Suddenly feeling very incompetent, she stopped wearing it during their stay. Their presence in the clan, however, helped change it's overall impression of Nymph as everybody noticed her parents were capable and kind - and that so was Nymph. She stopped wearing the mask for good, only keeping it during her patrols. She's no longer viewed as a terrible bully - although many still find her too harsh and hard to deal with.

A letter arrived from the Exalted Ranks of the Gladekeeper informing Nymph that her parents had joined the deity's exalt armies on their own terms and out of their own will. Despite knowing both her parents had chosen to leave their clan willingly, Nymph was devastated to find she'd no longer be able to easily see them. She took a few weeks off-duty, during which she grew incredibly depressed, chaining this sadness into violence. When she returned to her job, she was once more wearing her mask - and more bloodthirsty than ever before.

Meliade doesn't sleep well very often, because the night is when she's thinking about her parents.
Stays far, far away from hatchlings, unless she's really bored or she's showing them the "art of chemistry." Either that, or she'll try to scare them. Likes opera. Most of the time. Sour is her favorite flavor. Her familiar loves to snuggle up to the scarf she's wearing, so Bamboo Phytocat hairs are fairly common around her. Flights take her mind off things.

On April 29th, 2018, the Veiled Gladeson clan shipped an enourmous Lilypad with a Rainbow colored flower arrangement to Porto, as a thank you and offering of peace and good fortunes! While Melíade had been the one to receive it and write back the letter she quickly gave Byo the order to safely bring the Flower Arrangement to the Greenhouse. Mel was never the greatest on taking care of plants and it was a simple formality that she was the resident Nature representative - a political decision. On a daily basis, Byo was the one contacted when someone needed help with flowers, plants or spore diseases.

And so Byo took the colorful array to the Greenhouse and spent the next week tending to it with her magic so that the flowers could grow lively.

But Melíade was very thankful the Veiled Gladesong clan had sent it their way.
