Arcturus possesses an insatiable thirst for knowledge, which generally leads to him rarely being seen outside of the lair's library. Despite probably being the smartest dragon in the lair, he is exceptionally humble about it.

Unlike his father, a creature of whimsy and shenanigans, Arcturus is more grounded. This seems to reflect itself strongly in his magic, which allows him to animate objects (As opposed to Apogee's ability to animate his own whimsical mind in the form of illusions).

Arcturus is definitely a romantic at heart, though he tends to keep this to himself.
