Malcanthet

Malcanthet has two things working with and against each other. She has a wind dragon’s knack for being able to hear whispers on the breeze and often has news to share with the clan before it reaches them via normal methods. She is also a pearlcatcher, complete with their tendency towards gossip. This means ultimately no secret is safe with her and she has a knack for finding them out

Joramy considers Malcanthet her best friend and the two can often be found snickering in the back of the clan’s caves. Malcanthet is a wealth of information, which she freely shares with Joramy . Despite their best friend status,Joramy knows better than to trust Malcanthet with any of her plots. Malcanthet realizes that her friend holds back. She also knows that the clan as a whole considers her a flighty, mean spirited dragoness with little intellect. When in actuality she is quite smart and prefers they view her as an airhead in order for her to get away with her antics




 		Despite her flaws, she does contribute to the clan, mostly in the way of morale. She loves a good party and will often get together with Claude to organize events. Some find it funny to see the two of them pouring over musical numbers or discussing the latest fashions and what lanterns go best with which season. Malcanthet also has an eye for gem quality and has kept the clan from being ripped off many times.
