Biography

Oxidize was born with beautiful, burnished copper scales, a point of pride for the young Nocturne. But living so close to the Wyrmwound took its toll on him as he grew - they flaked and rusted, cracking in some places and fading to dull blue in others. In some places, the metal eroded entirely, leaving impure ore to calcify his skin and hamper his movement.

He's accepted the gradual loss of his agility - he'll never be a hunter or a fighter with his peculiar illness, and even gathering scrub and fungi is taxing for his rigid limbs - but the loss of his beauty, he did not suffer so lightly. He drapes himself in jewels and crystals, doing his best to cover up his decay with trinkets and shining cloth.

Even metal, he warns to each dragon he meets, is not safe from the Plaguebringer's touch.
