Pack Member, Bruiser, Slight Mutant When she was born, Project had a few extra eyes and several sharp, calciferous protrusions around her body. Born into a Plague clan, this wasn't very unusual. But when, still as an undeveloped juvenile, she was attacked by a parasitic creature, her clan considered her dead. If she wasn't killed immediately by the parasite, it would weaken her significantly until she died from one of the many other dangers the Scarred Wasteland presented. Abandoned to her fate, Project also believed herself dead, her body entwined in the root-like, pervasive tendrils of the parasite. She could feel her life force being drained from her. Then it stopped. There was something in her blood, a disease, the mutations she was born with, or something in her Bogsneak nature that was stronger than anyone knew, and rather than succumbing to the parasite, the creature fused with her. Combined with the parasite's strength, Project survived, though she had a greater need to consume than before. The longer she lived with the parasite a part of her, the more certain she was in her destiny. She grew in many ways, in strength, in stature, in knowledge and in gluttony. Because of the parasite, she needs to eat constantly or risk dying. Most lairs only need to take one look at her parasite and they chase her away, but when she found this clan, she was accepted readily, finding a place among others similar to her. She eats the most out of all of them, but she also offers them her brute strength in return. |
