Seafoam started out on her own; no family, no history. She just had a conviction that she wanted to begin a clan of her very own. She wandered the Windswept Plateau until she found a place in which to build a home for herself. As she set about making the area habitable and gathering the resources she would need to support a growing clan, she was found by Poplar. He was a soft-spoken dragon, but supportive, and the two became mates. They built the clan from the ground up, together.

They also went through a several changes, side by side. Through the use of magic, they transformed from common breeds into a mighty ridgeback and agile spiral. They also acquired genes that made them stand out among drabber dragons, setting them apart as leaders of their very own clan. These transformations not only changed Seafoam’s physical appearance, but gave her the confidence she’d needed to be a true leader.

In the early days, when her clan was just beginning, Seafoam was not as strong a leader as she’d hoped. Though the members of her clan respected her, she had a tendency to observe instead of rule. When the clan fell on hard times, she saw many once faithful members turn to the Windsinger and leave her clan. But after her change, she truly stepped into a leadership role and has led her clan with a firm but gentle claw. She keeps them safe and always makes sure they are provided for. She and poplar now both wear marks of eyes upon their body to symbolize that they will always watch over the clan.

Seafoam has a strong bond with Breeze, her Wind Sprite familiar. Seafoam had gone on a fishing trip, something she didn’t do much as clan leader, but she’d wanted a little time away. As she flew towards the coast, her trip took her close to the twisting crescendo, the constantly raging storm of the Plateau. As she flew, she thought she saw a small figure trapped in the swirling clouds, struggling not to be carried away to oblivion. She was about to fly on, but curiosity got the better of her and she went closer. It became clear that the figure was a young wind sprite that had been caught in the air currents. Without thinking, Seafoam dove into the squall and pulled out the Sprite. And the two have been inseparable ever since.

Except for a very terrifying experience during which Breeze went missing. The Sprite was the embodiment of her element, and frequently explored the area around the clan’s lair while Seafoam was occupied. But one day, Breeze when out on one such trip, and never returned. Seafoam had been particularly busy that day and didn’t notice until it was time to go to bed. But when she couldn’t find the Sprite, she became frantic. Nearly the whole clan was mobilized to find the lost Sprite. It was almost dawn when the Breeze was found. As far as Seafoam could tell, Breeze had been enchanted by a butterfly and had followed it a long ways before realizing she was lost. She’d spent the night alone and terrified until she’d spotted a dragon she recognized. The two were happy to be reunited, and Breeze has been more careful in her adventures.

Your other progen, I assume. Is she the random or the generated one? Either way, she is stunning and I'm quite impressed with both of them. And here's the thing -- normally I'd go, "blues and orange? ew" (orange is... not one of my favorite colors, especially matched with something like blue). But the way you combined her colors and her apparel is nothing short of amazing. Love the silks and the plumage... and the autumn leaves match the orange gembond, and she actually comes out looking awesome. I'm impressed.
