The ice may melt but the frozen threat will remain…

Thaw is the eldest son of Princess Shuriken and Ice Mage Zieliah, half-brother to Julio, Glacier & Celsius and is the only grandson of the ice Queen (ice rep) Frostcall. He is a swift youngster with just enough battle and magic experience to hunt in the worst of blizzards with his family. Starving for adventure, Thaw not only hunts on the ice, but in learning as well. He dives into the history of his frozen family, their arcane origins and role within Sornieth throughout the hundreds of books and atlases he reads.

Although not nearly as one with the ice as his grandmother, Thaw is anything but harmless among his family of icy wanders and wardens. Upon his birth, he inherited a rather odd power from Frostcall, the ability to freeze all victims of his ravenous bite. And to top it off, it seems a though ice begins to melt for a short period, such as his name suggests. Wielding his new responsibility, Thaw yearns to find a suitable teacher who can help him understand.

He guards his friends and family with undying loyalty, having once defended his younger relatives against two yetis at once. His power drains him mentally, leaving him delirious and confused. He has heard of mages, sorcerers who show no such weakness when using their own powers, and yet struggles to cope with his own.
