Fable is purely a Water dragon, as clearly as her reflection in a calm puddle. Fable is obsessed with riddles and puzzles, and, fitting the Water stereotype, keeps everything she finds out to herself. While she isn't an oracle like some Water dragons, Fable is equally mysterious, if not more so. She's so mysterious that nobody in her clan even knows her role. Many consider Fable not to be part of the clan at all, but a mere loner who visits every now and then. She isn't offended by those comments- she knows they're partially true.
Fable is always disappearing. She checks in on the clan and stays for a day or two, then disappears for increasing amounts of time. Fable assures everyone she's doing something important. But when dragons question her on what she's doing, she tells them simply, "I'm a lone scribe, and I have some important work to do with these books and scrolls."
Everyone in the clan knows that's a lie. There may be truth behind it, but only to cover up a greater secret. But nobody has succeeded in prying the truth from Fable, despite increasingly malicious attempts from some dragons.
Fable likes to keep to herself. She sees other dragons as annoyances that will only hold her back. But in truth, she also worries for them- she knows if anyone knew the truth about her, it would only endanger the entire clan. Maybe all of Sornieth.
It's been several months now since anyone in the clan has seen Fable. However, she always tends to appear whenever the clan is in great danger. Fable seems to follow danger like a shadow, chasing it back and eventually hoping to banish it forever. However, some dragons misunderstand the situation, and accuse Fable of being the cause of danger. A harbinger of doom. A bringer of death.
In truth, Fable may be a shrouded loner, but she will always protect an innocent.

Not much is known about Fable's real personality. She's mysterious, shrouded, and never stays in the clan for more than a day or two. However, when she is present in the clan, Fable is obsessed with Sornieth's history. It's a well-known fact Fable enjoys riddles and puzzles as well.
What's less known is that Fable can be extremely scattered an unorganized- so much so that a Guardian dragon made Fable its charge just to protect the adventurous Coatl. Fable is always seen with the Guardian. It is extremely rare only one of them is sighted, and in those times it's always Fable sighted alone. Fable is now mated to the Guardian, who is known as Stormfall.
Another lesser-known fact about Fable is that she's also obsessed with magic. She rarely ever uses it herself, but she's always been fascinated by the concept of magic. And unlike a lot of dragons, Fable is aware of the deadly consequences of using magic, which is the reason she never uses it unless she has no other choice.
Although most Coatls have difficulty speaking standard draconic, Fable is completely fluent in draconic as well as Coatl. While most Coatl's can't understand Faes at all, Fable can decipher Faes' monotone voice- but it takes her a lot of time and effort.
