After a series of fluid twirls, Pearl stops in a tiny pause. With sakura petals falling around him, it was as if he blended in with the sakura trees, presenting a scene much like that of a painting. He proceed to fly up to the sky, twisting as he flew, and when it almost felt like he could touch the clouds, he started his descend, flying in circles, with each circle smaller than the last. Pearl stops short just above the Arcanist Meteorite Miniature, and does a series of triple spins before coming to a complete stop. The monthly dance ritual was completed but not without taking a toll on Pearl. He was sweating and heaving but also wearing a smile.

It was rare for Pearl to smile. Having been born a ice dragon, he was expressionless most of the time, except when he was dancing. Perhaps it was his strong affinity with Arcane shining through, dancing brought out a very passionate side of Pearl. It was this passion that caught Ruby's interest when she was visiting Schiemoon's clan. Ruby was invited to perform and as she was dancing, she couldn't help but notice a purple imperial hatchling. His face transformed as Ruby danced, showing so much interest and enthusiasm. It was such a contrast with the rest of the dragons that it was really hard not to notice him.

Ruby approached him after the performance, and asked if he would like to learn how to dance. He was about to answer when another voice cut in, "I am coming along too." Ruby turned to see a blue spiral hatchling and thought to herself, "well, the more the merrier." Ruby brought them both back to Eiyora's clan and enrolled them into the Dancing school of the semi-nomadic clan. It was not long before they joined Ruby in performing rituals and ceremonies for the clan, as well as completing monthly dance rituals for their respective element, and becoming members of the Gemstone Dance Troupe.

Pearl was happy with his role in the clan. Dancing is his life and there really wasn't anything else other than that. He didn't socialize and he was cold to everyone except for his fellow dance companions. However, this greatly increased his appeal and he has fans numbered in the thousands. Ignoring all fans' attempts to come into contact with him, Pearl keeps to himself in his temple, practicing the love of his life, dance.

Unauthorised Publicity Stunt - Day 2, Speed Skating, Sornieth Winter Games, Crystalline Gala

Eiyora fastens the skates on Pearl while nagging, "This competition is all about speed. Remember, this is a speed skating competition, not a dancing competition-" Pearl hmph in response and walks out to the rink without waiting for Eiyora to finish.

Sighing at Pearl's indifference, Eiyora could only pray that he listened this time and goes to join the rest of the audience. The starting horn blew and Eiyora watch on hopelessly as Pearl starts his favourite triple spins and twist as he travels around the rink, almost causing a few accidents with his tail bangle. Eiyora was in midst of a face-palm when a couple of dragons beside her starts screaming, "Kya! That's Pearl-sama!"

"Oh great, should have known his fans would be here. Spiralshine is going to have my neck for bringing him and the rest out without permission. Oh well, it makes for a great publicity stunt." Eiyora thought to herself and broke into another sigh when she sees Pearl start doing twirls, "Should have just signed him up for figure skating."
