*Heard that the Orchard was hoping to recruit a Fire enchanter to help defend themselves and came to check the opportunity out.

*Wasn't sure if he wanted to stay- it's awfully dangerous here, after all- but when he heard how many other potential enchanters had fled in horror just about as soon as set foot in the place his competitive spirit stepped up and made him decide to at least give it a try.

*It turns out that, besides growing fairly sick of the color green, he quite likes living here. The bright colors of all the vibrant flowers and fruit, ever changing with the seasons and their growth cycles, makes his heart happy.

*Playful, enthusiastic, loud when he can be without crossing the line into rude or pain-in-the-neck.

*Out of curiosity to learn about Vellum's runework, he made a point of being around for all of of her ward-setting sessions with Adena. The poor Pearlcatcher was obviously nervous all the time, and it saddened Zanri to see that nobody really seemed to have the time to spare to cheer her up. They've grown very fond of each other over time and will most likely become mates.
