Take what you can, give nothing back ____________ Velia was born under a former Duke and Duchess banished into The Fortress of Ends for their heinous crimes. Her birth parents, whom passed in the frigid wasteland, laundered money from the Domains they controlled. Velia had always been interested in a bigger scheme, she was a natural born leader and a master of manipulation. Even at a tender age she had a multitude of disciples running through streets. When a snitch came forward, the family of greed was stripped of their power and banished to a frozen death. The family started their trek to the Frigid Floes as a last attempt to survival. The IceWarden was not in their favor, after a vicious attack from a gang of Coarsefur Yeti's left her parents dead and Velia severely injured. Through sheer spite and strength she slugged herself to the icy waters before collapsing and releasing her final breath. Everything simply went dark, but a purple radiation thawed her soul and she found herself gasping for breath once again. This time, instead of a frozen tundra Velia awoke on a ship. The same purple haze now coursing through her stomach and neck, giving her strength and guidance. It took a little less than a year for Velia to take control of the ship. She charmed her way through the crew until they were all loyal and smitten by her - overthrowing the Captain was a simple job. He now lay frozen in the abyss, and She the Captain of her own ship. The AC Jokull. Sense her Awakening Velia exhibits both Arcane and Ice powers. With the help of the Arcanist she is able to manipulate souls and spirits with the help of Astral Vision. Her ice powers originate from Ice Absorption. This increases her strength, agility, and can even be used to regenerate and heal herself. While she travels to every Flight and Clan her loyalties lie mainly with The Arcanist and the Shadowbinder. Most of her crew originate from these Flights. Her hatred is pointed to the Icewarden for the death of her parents, however she harbors a disdain for the Lightweaver as well. |
