Charlotte Bogtrotter looked out across the sandy dunes and thought, "I wish my life were more like the output of a random text generator."

Then Charlotte saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Gary MacDonald, wearing chaps and a damp hat.

"I am here because I want a wifi code," Gary bellowed, in a greedy tone. He slammed his fist against Charlotte's chest, with the force of 1349 dogs. "I frigging love you, Charlotte Bogtrotter."

"It's time for loudly throwing!" whispered the goblin that lived on her wings.

Charlotte looked at Gary's hat; it had an impatient brim and a sunny shade. She loved Gary. She did not want to take the hat from him. Gary, especially, loved the band.

She examined the windswept sand dunes. In the distance, a fiery hippogriff lunged like a weather-beaten Frisbee through the sky.

Charlotte remembered it circling calmly the day before and knew it would do so again.

The skies made her tremble like sandy spurs.

Gary lunged.

Crack!

The hat was destroyed.

The goblin that lived on Charlotte's wings vanished in a puff of smoke.

Only the hippogriff won that day.
