Top three dragons: 1

_Class: Scribe
Knowledges: Poetry, history, Ravenspeech

Personality: _Perhaps it is easier to navigate the treacherous steps of the Reedcleft Ascent than it is to find one's way around the Archives of the Flock. The undisputed domain of High Ravenspeaker Krikka, the Archives reflects its overseer's confusing nature perfectly. Situated in one of the oldest structures belonging to the Flock, the Archives are a warren of twisting corridors and stacks that reach up towards the skies. Old, twisting staircases link one level to the next and visitors are often cautioned to mind their step as landings might often lead to dead ends or long drops. These endless stacks filled with ancient tomes and scrolls and charts hold a wealth of knowledge for those patient enough to seek their answers out. But even the most meticulous of guests need a little nudge in the right direction, and that is where Iuriti enters the picture.

___A scribe, one of many working under Krikka's direction, Iuriti stands as both scholar and guide. They are a constant fixture in the Archives, often appearing as if from nowhere to lead wayward visitors to their intended destination. Iuriti's penchant for appearing and disappearing at will has earned them the moniker of Shadowfeather, a nickname that they regard with a measure of amusement. Though helpful, Iuriti delights in watching as visitors and guests slowly solve the puzzling layout of the archives on their own. It is a triumph of logic over chaos in their eyes, and it does Iuriti's heart glad to watch it happen. When not offering advice or directions, Iuriti's projects include transcribing poetry from Ravenspeech into the Draconic dialects or making copies of the dustiest most ancient of books before they crumble away into nothing. An accomplished Historian there seems to be no tale or legend surrounding the Flock or their bonded harpies that Iuriti does not know.

___However, few claim to know Iuriti outside of their accomplishments. They are just as shrouded in mystery as Krikka is (unsurprising as they are mates) but unlike Krikka they do leave behind little clues which the curious may piece together. Watching Iuriti closely one may see how they favor logic and order above all else. Their workspaces are neat and tidy with scented candles placed nearby. Iuriti favors natural scents as those do not cause their ravens discomfort. Another trait of Iuriti is how patient and understanding they are. They listen to questions and concerns, genuinely deliberating over them before answering sincerely. Their understanding nature makes them a favored guide provided one can find them.
Backstory: Iuriti was born into the Flock and as tradition dictated their role within it was chosen for them as soon as they broke out of their shell. A part of a small clutch, they were not the loudest or rowdiest of the bunch, nor were they the runt. Iuriti was somewhere comfortably in the middle and was perhaps a little overlooked. Iuriti the nondescript and then later on Iuriti the forgettable, those were the labels that haunted them as they were growing up, but instead of resenting it Iuriti took it all in stride. Logical and practical even for a young dragon, Iuriti reasoned that the Flock was leaving them alone to hone their craft in peace. Without the eyes of gossips on them, Iuriti was able to come and go as they pleased. They would stay with the harpies allied to the Flock and learn Ravenspeech. They would travel across the Windsinger's domain gathering knowledge and understanding where they could. When it came time to return to the Flock to take up their duties, many believed that Iuriti would take charge of the Archives, but this was not to be.

___With the introduction of Krikka into the Flock, Iuriti took on the position of scribe. Though there were many claiming that they would start to feel bitter and resentful at being overlooked again, Iuriti surprised everyone by forging a close friendship and then a relationship with Krikka. Proving to be very protective of the High Ravenspeaker, Iuriti would shadow them and act as a translator when Krikka's confusing way of speaking gets the best of both guests and Flock members alike. Patient with Krikka, Iuriti will spend hours talking to them to figure out what they have to say on any given subject.

___Iuriti remains a constant, both as a scribe of the Archives and the shadow by Krikka's side, protecting them from the worst of their naysayers. Anyone seeing the murder of Storm Crows leaving the Archives roosts will know that Shadowfeather Iuriti is once more up to research. Having established themselves as both a learned guide and Krikka's constant companion, being overlooked is something that will never again happen to Iuriti.
