Assistant Librarian
Pavati's age makes it difficult for her to do most jobs, so she's stuck with the role of helping out Icespitter in the library. She mostly appears there when Icespitter is teaching his classes. "Aren’t you tired of running away from everything?" A Nocturne who appears as hatchling, but in reality she's more mature than most. Don't underestimate her, she's considerably intelligent. She shares all her genes with her Nocturne mother and iridescent gene with her Fae mother. - Likes: Skipping Stones, Picking Flowers, Sleeping, Walks in the Park, Drawing - Dislikes: Stormy Weather, Drinking Tea, Sitting in One Place for Too Long - Secret(s): Just why she stays a hatchling. If anyone asks, she usually replies with "It's a long story." or "I can't remember." - According to the Sornieth Floriography Guide, Stonewatch Scrub stands for difficulties. - Her maned rasa is named Toffee and is about the same size as her. However, he's a bit aggressive sometimes and likes to play rough with Pavati, much to her dismay. - She does live alone. - Pavati has the body of a hatchling, but she has the mind of an adult. Think LtCorbis to some extent. However, she does have some personality traits that a child would have. - Having the body of a literal baby restricts her from doing a wide variety of things such as drinking and going into battle. - Pavati is very physically and magically weak. She likes to stick around stronger dragons, - On particularly slow days in the library, she just chills somewhere inside it and reads a book. She likes historical fiction the most. - If Pavati's attention isn't occupied by something, she might just go crazy. - She frequently feels very alone. - Pavati finds solace in drawing. She likes drawing with charcoals. - Sometimes she just lies in gardens and just stays there for a while. It calms her. - Pavati was met with the offer from the Board to stay in the city for free, but refused it because she wanted to be useful. Origin Story Pavati was an only child. She resided in the Starwood Strand with her parents. She vaguely remembers how the trees' flowers seemed to glow with blue light and how beautiful it was. It was truly beautiful place. She would wander about the forest, thinking and wondering about anything and everything. One fateful day when Pavati was twelve, her parents had angered a witch. The witch had sneaked into their home and had attempted to steal their treasure. Pavati's parents, however, were able to fight her off. Before she left, she cursed Pavati to stay forever young. Years passed until she and her parents noticed. Not wanting to have to take care of her forever, she was thrown out of their home. This made Pavati very, very sad, but she tried not to dwell on it. She picked up a map and made her way to the Sunbeam Ruins. She had heard that the dragons there were very kind and intelligent. Something she wanted to be. She saw many amazing sights on her way there, passing through the domains of plague and water. However, it was worth noting that she found it very hard to find food for herself and mostly relied on the pity of others. When she finally reached the Sunbeam Ruins, she encountered the Lavaburst City and decided to settle there.
