Biography
Touching Hearts


Ferrum was never meant to stay for long. Everyone thought that as soon as his children had settled in, he would have gone off to fight the good fight for the Stormcatcher. They soon came to notice, however, that he had a way with beasts.

Having a familiar is nothing special, but Ferrum has gone above and beyond. Every familiar that awaits a companion finds themselves cared for by him. It is not enough to keep them fed. So, too, must they be given due affections, be it a reassuring word or a gentle touch. All of them. He claims that what he does is poking their hearts.

When his daily poking session is done, he spends his time advising others on their own familiars and helping them find the perfect companions. Occasionally he'll let others borrow more for the sake of their pursuits, such as his son's construction projects or Curry's delivery services. All he asks is that they are treated with love and care.
