A self proclaimed loner and vigilante, Batman is... a strange dragon. His status as a loner is debatable, but he is undeniably very well-off.
This dragon, known formally as Bruce, lost his parents at a rather young age. Racked with grief for many years, Bruce decided to take on the mantle of Batman, a rather mysterious character who roams the land at night to ward off trouble. He and his butler-turned-surrogate-parent Alfred moved from the Windswept Plateau to the Shifting Expanse, seeking a fresh start and a place with nearly unlimited energy resources.
The Stormcatcher's domain proved to be the perfect place for Batman to develop the technology and skills needed for him to take on anyone and anything, from beastclan troops to the most intimidating Imperial. He used his fortune to construct cavernous spaces in the Lightning farm, but despite all the space, he kept to himself.
One fateful night, Batman was patrolling the farthest reaches of the Southern Icefield when he found something very peculiar. A lone hatchling, brightly-colored and very, very cold. What else was Batman to do but take him in? Now he's got a very flashy sidekick but he cares for him in his own, distinctly Batman way.
