She came to the clan seeking word of someone she'd lost, only to find he had made a home here-- she was seeking Kougaiji! She'd served him in their life before he came to the Tyrian Clan, but they'd been separated by a battle neither of them will speak of. Kougaiji's surprise at seeing her was matched only by her joy at seeing him. They greeted one another not as friends, but as old lovers, and it went without being spoken that they would be mated.


Yaone is a calm, collected sort, who is a healer and mage by trade. She can also create deadly poisons, and has some Sight as well. It's unpredictable and cannot be relied on to show itself on demand, but her words are best heeded. She is good with hatchlings and helps out with them when and where she can, and is always happy to greet Kougaiji when he returns home from his battles.

Yaone's namesake is the youkai companion of Kougaiji. She is polite, and calm, but dangerous and powerful when pressed or threatened. Not prone to playing the damsel in distress, she is quite self sacrificing, and her loyalty to Kougaiji is unshakable, even if she does disobey him on occasion. She's a great cook, a competent fighter, and a skilled assassin. A strong woman who will stand and fight for what she believes in, she's a true friend to have.
