B I O G R A P H Y

Empathy is, as her name suggests, a highly empathic dragon. She always knows what other dragons are feeling, and sometimes this can really interfere with Empathy's own emotions. She sometimes loses sight of what she's really feeling, overwhelmed in the feelings of other dragons. Like her infamous mother Gemini, Empathy often hates her empathic abilities, wanting to be alone with her own feelings instead of confused in other dragons' emotions. However, unlike her mother, Empathy would never want to give up her ability. As much as she hates it, Empathy knows her ability is part of who she is, and she finds it hard to imagine her life without it.
However, Empathy has another ability, a gift only she and her mother know about. Empathy can always see two sides to any story, any dragon, any event. An example would be Empathy's own mother. Most dragons in the clan hate Gemini for her scathing remarks and shrouded personality. But Empathy understands that Gemini only acts this way because of her blood-soaked past. Empathy understands Gemini's side of the story, and has pity where most dragons only show hatred.
Despite Empathy's two-sided approach to the world, she still holds a deep hatred for some dragons. Empathy is determined to hunt down and kill Bermuda, the rogue dragon who tormented her mother. If anyone threatens Empathy's family, she won't hesitate to decimate them, no matter if she sympathizes with them. Empathy also despises ignorance and arrogance. If a dragon does something terrible and is too blinded by arrogance and ignorance to realize they're being evil, Empathy will immediately hate them. She also despises sociopaths, seeing them as unnatural opposites to herself.
In the end, Empathy is a gifted dragon, but with a clear sense of right and wrong, and determination to use her gifts to help her family.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Much like her mother Gemini, Empathy has deep-rooted terrors of torture or imprisonment in any form. The only difference is that nothing remotely like that has actually happened to Empathy. But she lives in terror every day, knowing it could happen, has happened, will still happen, to her or another dragon in her clan.
Despite her terror, Empathy is much more mentally stable than Gemini. While Gemini is haunted by flashbacks, Empathy is merely troubled with the knowledge of what could happen. But knowledge is powerful, and Empathy hasn't always been able to contain her terror. Despite this, Empathy has found several escapes from her fears. Her personal favourite is reading, but Empathy has also found comfort in nature, watching the various animals and plants in her clan's territory.
Empathy also loves getting absorbed in a book or scroll, and much like her mother, Empathy uses reading to escape reality, and can easily melt into a story and forget about reality. But unlike Gemini, Empathy is also extremely artistic. If she isn't reading or watching nature, she's most likely drawing or writing.
