I never asked for this! I just wanted to be an ordinary mage, just like everyone else. Normal magic, normal spells, the usual, right? Well, of course I can't just get my way. Typical. And OF COURSE that bat just had to TALK. Bats don't talk! But there I go, stupid, naive Silas, talking to the damn bat, and before I know it, I'm covered in glitter and frills and saying weird stuff like "Moonlight Sword of Justice!" while the strangest enemies just swarm to me. It's ridiculous. Am I magical now? Yes, arguably. Is it what I wanted? Absolutely not.

But at least until I find a way to go back to normal, I guess I'll have to deal with this. That's just my luck, isn't it.

Oh, and the bat still talks to me. Great.
