The Twisting Crescendo - the powerful storm that has raged since ancient times. This clash of energy is so powerful that occasionally, a smaller storm is thrown out into the surrounding landscape. These storms usually end up in other parts of the world, sometimes close by and sometimes not, and soak up nearby elemental magic. If a storm soaks up enough magic, it takes on a corporal form and becomes a living being.

When these Cyclones were tossed from the Twisting Crescendo, they were thrown across the continent to the Sunbeam Ruins. They still retain the playful nature of the Wind Singer's creations, but have taken on a more scholarly nature. They are curious about all things with knowledge, whether from books or life, and can frequently be found staying up for days at a time to study. Despite their thirst and never-ending search for knowledge, the Solarflares are a mysterious and relatively secretive bunch. The information they discover becomes closely regarded secrets within their subspecies. Some have even been known to code their discoveries to ensure they are not mistakenly discovered.
