Biography
A nice lady I found on a Nature forum ('Choose your Favourite Dragon Above') who ended up being sold to me. She'll have a good home here MarsBar :D
The example is of the Parthenon, found on the Athenian Acropolis in Greece. I can't believe I spent so much on the sword but honey you wear it so well!
Naos is a rogue warrior hailing from the Shifting Expanse. She has a no-nonsense attitude towards those she deems not worthy of her time, garnering her little respect in the Lair of Many References. She has taken on Larimar, the clan's foremost combat expert, as a rival. At first, it was because she saw her as a worthy enough adversary to challenge for dominance. Over time, the feud became friendlier, and she joins Larimar on patrols, waiting patiently for the ridgeback to be done training Maat and the others.
She knows little of Alduin and has asked Larimar on occasion, only for the latter to become distant and cold. She has since learned that some things are better off left alone. As for the THING known only as Contagion...she is wary of it, and she knows Larimar is afraid. The old Naos would've exploited this, but now...she seeks only to protect her friend should it turn on the Lair.
Even where a Greek influence is visible, such structures are not normally considered as Greek temples. This applies, for example, to the Graeco-Parthian and Bactrian temples, or to the Ptolemaic examples, which follow Egyptian tradition. Most Greek temples were oriented astronomically.

Greek temples (Ancient Greek: Ναός, Naós "dwelling", semantically distinct from Latin templum ("temple") were structures built to house deity statues within Greek sanctuaries in ancient Greek religion. The temple interiors did not serve as meeting places, since the sacrifices and rituals dedicated to the respective deity took place outside them. Temples were frequently used to store votive offerings. They are the most important and most widespread building type in Greek architecture. In the Hellenistic kingdoms of Southwest Asia and of North Africa, buildings erected to fulfill the functions of a temple often continued to follow the local traditions. |
