Ripple was raised in a loving clan, but from a young age it became clear he was not like most wildclaw hatchlings. He was not strong, had no use for battling for leadership over the hatchlings, and did not seem to possess a martial instinct. His nose was more frequently pushed in books, everything from historical texts to humor journals. He loved watching the spellcasters of the clan work and dreamed of being able to help protect the clan with less brutal means.

So he went out into the world to learn the ways of casting spells and learning arcane magics. Ripple learned quickly his heart was not in the attack, but in the defense of things he loved, and eventually he settled into life as a healing spellcaster. As a healer for the crew, Ripple is doing what he loves what he does. He loves to partner with other members of the crew on missions, jumping in and lending a hand as needed or tossing out a witty but supportive word when moral is low. Ripple works best in a team and tends to flounder when left to his own devices.

Ripple's greatest strengths are his versatility and cleverness in tough situations, his colorful sense of humor, and his protective instincts.

Ripple is very proud of his children who all managed to land jobs working for the deities of their respective lands they traveled to after leaving the clan. He misses them sometimes but he likes knowing they're out there doing their best.
