Biography
Nimbus, Gladiator
Born and bred battler, Nimbus was never much for schooling he found books and theory boring and was much more involved in practical lessons so much so his clan teachers found it hard to contain the hatchlings energy for lessons often disrupting the other hatchlings who actually were trying to learn. Finding discipline did not help the small dragon they went for a more suitable method, teaching him by doing. Nimbus then trained under a veteran coliseum fighter in hopes to better his skills as a warrior and to bring pride to his clan and to try and teach the hatchling life lessons as well as helping him find his purpose.
Nimbus was a gifted student and learnt well under his master but found clan life lacking in some way. Nimbus was a grand fighter and had potential but he still felt empty, under the suggestion of an aged guardian dragon Nimbus set out from his clan life to set out on his Search. Knowing this journey most likely marked the last time that Nimbus will ever see his original clan, he said his goodbyes and pledged he would keep up their traditions and mortals in the new clan and den he would call home. Nimbus did not know what his charge would look like but he new he would find them and so he set out on his Search.

While he appears very confident and sure of himself, Nimbus is actually quite the opposite. Not fully understanding most social cues or knowing exactly how to interact with others, he has little to no confidence and is lacking self-esteem. Once someone gets to know him they realize he's quite awkward and not at all intimidating despite his appearance. He's generally very stiff and tense, and others are always having to tell him to loosen up and that he'll get sore shoulders that way.
Nimbus shines the most in the Coliseum, a true and tested warrior he definitely knows his way around combat. He has a special interest in fighting, combat strategies and the like as well, and while he generally isn't great at conversation, he can go on for hours when on those topics. Everyone always notices a little sparkle in his eyes when he's battling or talking about battling.
Nimbus is, in general, a very kindhearted and sweet dragon. He does what he can to help out in the clan and wants to prove himself useful to the clan leaders, Adaline and Grimish, as well as the rest of the clan itself.

Nimbus had been travelling for a long time by now, and finally happened upon a clan hidden in the ice territory. He stopped as he noticed two large guardians stepping forward. "What business do you have here?" The female called out, her arms crossing her chest and a hard look on her face. "I've been travelling for a long time, I was hoping to seek some shelter, and possibly some food if that wouldn't be too much to ask." Nimbus replied, trying his best to sound confident, though that was hard as the two in front of him were quite intimidating. The one who spoke to him scanned her eyes over him, inspecting him. "You may come in, we will provide you some shelter and food." She moved her body to the side, allowing him to pass and welcoming him into the clan. He let out a sigh of relief, stepping forward and making his way into the cavern.
"So," The female guardian, whose name he learned was Adaline, started. "Why exactly are you travelling by yourself?" He, Adaline and the other guardian, Grimish, sat around a fire in a small room, he was grateful to be able to warm himself up some. "I'm looking for my charge. I've always felt that something has been missing, and once I was able to go out on my own, I decided it was time I look." He looked straight into her eyes with the confidence that he lacked earlier. Adaline raised an eyebrow, looking more curious now; while Grimish looked slightly amused. "I don't see why he can't stay here until he finds what he's looking for, he doesn't seem to have any ill intentions towards us or the clan, I think it'll be fine." The bigger male guardian finally spoke for the first time since they met. "He might even prove himself to be useful around the clan. What are you good at, boy? What can you do?" He leaned back against the wall some with his arms crossed. "I can fight." Nimbus started to perk up some. "I was a gladiator in my old clan. I can fight well, I'm strong. I can help you." He had more confidence than ever now, fighting is what he was best at and he wanted to prove himself. Grimish looked over to Adaline with an amused look on his face, he didn't need to say a word, she understood him perfectly. "Alright then. Well, Nimbus, I first assign you with the task of guarding our daughter. Protect her. Make sure she stays safe. And if any harm comes to her on your watch, then you will be answering to me." Nimbus nodded, standing up and bowing to her. "I understand, I will do everything I can to protect her."
