Biography
Named after the wife of Orpheus in Greek Mythology and also my random progen!
Eurydice was born, fully grown, from the head of the Gladekeeper. Her purpose was made clear to her as soon as she hit the ground: she was to go on a Search not just for a charge, but also a Lair. She was not going to fail her Glademother, who had been kind enough to grant her the clothes you see on her now. The Satchel though is of the utmost importance: it bears the insignia of the deity herself.
Picking herself up off the ground, Eurydice went off in search of a place to call home. Along the way, she encountered many feral familiars and beastclan operatives, fighting her way out of tough situations in a style almost reminiscent of Wonder Woman. Her reputation began to spread amongst those opposing the dragon race, and towards the end of her search she was not bothered too much.
She found the Lair of Many References because a shout had alerted her. She wandered into a small clearing, whereupon she saw a most...interesting site. A baby snapper with a yellowish-green tinge (Beatrice) was attempting to eat the leg of a young blue spiral (Cyan) and a small green fae (Juniper) was frantically trying to get her to stop. It amused her to watch him fly erratically around the pair for a bit before she decided to intervene. She pulled the snapper away from the spiral, set them at opposite ends of the clearing, and that was that. The fae, surprised at the intrusion, thanked her and introduced himself. She, upon hearing his somewhat stuttering words, immediately announced that:
1) Her name was Eurydice and she had a divine purpose
2) That little display of discord was evidence that he needed a hand with his lair, so she was taking him as her Charge until further notice.
3) She would help him run the lair, no discussions.
Then, she picked a spot for her nest, sat in it, and went to sleep. Juniper was left dumbfounded, confused...and a little hot and bothered.
These three emotions would follow him the longer he spent with Eurydice. She, conversely, found out that she enjoyed his company, and became accustomed to the idea of mating and having children. This was, of course, entirely her idea.
She is an impartial mother and sends her children off to the Gladekeeper dutifully, believing them essential in the protection of the Labyrinth as representatives of TLoMR. She is proud of her little warriors, though emotion is generally reserved for Juniper and close colleagues. She also helps the nursing couples in the Nesting Grounds from time to time, leaving Juniper to sort things himself with the help of Ceres. Those times Eurydice is away are quite hard for Juniper, since without his musclebound waifu he loses a little bit of authority.
There is no question who wears the pants in this relationship. It is not known whether or not that Eurydice is aware, or even cares, that she does. Juniper does ride around in her bag sometimes though, when he's tired from flapping around organising things all day.

In Greek mythology, Eurydice (/jʊˈrɪdᵻsiː/; Greek: Εὐρυδίκη, Eurydikē) was an oak nymph or one of the daughters of Apollo (the god of music, prophecy, and light, who also drove the sun chariot, "adopting" the power as god of the Sun from the primordial god Helios). She was the wife of Orpheus, who tried to bring her back from the dead with his enchanting music by soothing the hearts of Hades and Persephone, only to lose her again by looking at her before they managed to get out of the Underworld.
