Despite being born under the Stormcatcher, from an early age, Mahdi felt his calling would be elsewhere. Nature, destiny, drove him to travel from the Shifting Expanse to the Scarred Wasteland of the Plague.
And he oddly, felt at home.

Mahdi is the one that chooses when a dragon of the clan is ready for exalting, helps those that are chosen to be exalted on their way to become stronger before they leave.

Aside from that job, Mahdi also acts as hunter and gatherer for the clan, providing food for all.

Many find Mahdi odd for the things he says. But he swears that he hears the ghosts of the fallen, has connections to the spiritual realm, and can hear the plague spread each day with their whispers.
Yet, many also come to him if nothing else seems to make sense for them. Wether it be life questions, troubles, nightmares, or simply the way they sit each day. Mahdi always seems to have a wise answer, and stays respectful no matter what.
Gaze as far into the stars as you may; their domain is fathomless.
