This is not to say that she is a cruel monster, or someone that unnecessarily went out of their way to hurt others. But as she was approached with job offers, it quickly became clear that she would not turn down jobs that were more... morally dubious than others.

After years of taking whatever job suits her need to travel throughout Sorneith, Pororoca became employed by the Wayfarer's Haven. There, she serves as a bodyguard of sorts. While not opposed to the easygoing nature of the job- threats not being anywhere close to a constant- the lack of traveling chances available to her occasionally soured her mood.

Good thing that the Haven was attacked and gave her and the Skydancer- Sindri- that she protects a chance to be free! It's not as if now they worry for both their lives and the lives of the Haven! Thanks, deities, for hearing her pleas! 		Alabaster Filigree Helmet
