Biography

Tribute to the departed Heath Ledger. The Dark Knight was a fave movie from my childhood and the green tufts looked a bit like the Joker! Though I did like his role in that movie, my favourite role of his was in A Knights Tale as William Thatcher/ Sir Ulrich Von Lichtenstein of Geldeland. I also liked him in The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus.

Heath is a big sweetheart and also a pretty good small-stage actor. He puts on plays, some of them to the tune of Erato’s music. He even acts out the poetry she makes sometimes. He’s a little unsure of himself sometimes, but he’s well liked, and has aspirations to take his acting outside the Lair to make it big.

He has an eye for perfection and likes everything to be just so before he gets up in the morning. He’s another one for routine, like Erebus. The older mirror appreciates his cleanliness, and the two of them are good friends. When Heath does become a celebrity, he's counting on Erebus being right in the front row when he gets acknowledged. Heath also has an eye for the ladies, and has been known to let what little fame he has get the better of him sometimes.

Despite this, Heath is a very devoted father to his daughter, Wanderer. However, he doesn't think much of Indiana, her idol. The Bookworm plushie is Wanderer’s and is named Mr Wiggles. He was a gift from the lair’s librarian, Matilda. Despite not liking Indy, Heath is very supportive of his daughter’s wishes to one day become a renowed scholar in Archaeology and Geography.

He’s never considered himself lucky in love, even though he’s had a few kids with one of his all time biggest fans. Nobody knew about the unplanned pregnancy, not even Erebus. The fan left the Lair shortly before giving birth. Heath made it clear that he wasn’t going to be involved in rearing the hatchlings. That was a mistake. A while later, Heath received word from the fan’s family. Following complications during the birth...all of them went to serve the Deity. Heath vowed never to play the field again after that, believing it to be his fault. One special young tundra changed his mind though.

Regan appreciated his craft and supported him throughout her brief stay in the Lair. They got to talking after one of his performances, and Heath was rather taken by her appearance, similar to his own as it was. Their relationship wasn’t the most romantic to begin with. She taught him the proper value of humility and in turn he fostered her secret flair for the dramatic. The two grew rather close despite their differences, and Heath soon became a father again. Things were going well, and this time the pregnancy was openly talked about. Erebus even became the godfather to the hatchlings! Only...Regan had to leave shortly after giving birth. Her mission had to continue, and Heath understood that. She’d told him about her goal to make more families like her own. Inspired by such a selfless act, Heath became determined not to let fatherhood pass him by. He was there to see his children born, see them grow up and decide for themselves what they were going to do with their lives. And of course he never forgot Regan. One day he hopes to see her again, if only to tell her how much she changed his life for the better.
