Biography

Stained glass artist / quiet, nervous, level headed / agender they/them / memorial crafter
Original microlore by ixris: With their father's dexterous hands and his mother's head for mixing pungent herbs, many would think perhaps they would become a surgeon or physician as their parents were.
Instead, they are fascinated by stained glass. The first time they saw the colored panels lined in lead, their heart stopped, and they knew this was their path. Now known for their quaint scenes of clanar life and stunning understanding of color theory and abstract geometry, they are constantly experimenting with the ores mixed with sand to achieve superior colors for each pane.
They are agender.

*Ochre's parents were kind enough to them, sure, but it wasn't hard to see that most of the things the Bleachbone Hoarde was up to were... selfish and dangerous, to be generous about it. As things grew more and more intense and the hostility of the Hoard's leadership towards some of its own members became perfectly clear, Ochre decided it was time to go, while they could still claim to have clean hands. It was a matter of time until they would have to choose between that and their own safety if they stayed. *It's a scary thing, setting out into the world all alone, especially with the added burden of knowing that your parents likely have pushed others into an early grave. The first thing Ochre sought out was a scrollcrafter who could help them change their shape. Strong, flexible hands with precise claws were a must have, but besides that the shape was negotiable as long as it would erase any resemblance to either of their parents. The scrollcrafter promised them that as a Tundra they would have a fantastic sense of smell, good strong arms and legs built for digging tunnels, and that as a dragon not naturally born to a Tundra's mind they would keep most if not all of their capacity to keep track of long term memories. The fur would get in the way of their glasswork, but that could be shaved back on both arms if necessary. It was a fair exchange. That taken care of, they turned back to their true heart's desire- art, specifically the art of transforming minerals, sand, lead, and blistering heat into heart-stirring images. Or you could dumb it down by calling it 'stained glass art of domestic scenes.' Whatever, they're not too particular about the name for it. Dragonhome was a fantastic place to find good pure ore and materials for glass, but they didn't want to stick around in the same territory as the Hoarde. They set out, using their Earth senses and their strong Tundra's sense of smell to find and follow a new location where materials would be easy to come by and they could settle down to work.
