Corona is able to project solar flares at will. These can range from small sparks resembling fireworks to large globes of heat and flame. She has some control over this ability, but it is unstable at best. Her emotional state has a profound effect on the magnitude of the flares, which become increasingly intense and erratic as her emotions escalate.

Her scales are warm to the touch, and there always seems to be a warm breeze around her. When she is in emotional distress, light leaks out from between her scales and she radiates such heat that the air around her body ripples.
